This picture is also facing the left side wall. A local sub-contractor with power equipment assisted the general contractor in carefully removing the destroyed structure. We did not want the "dry stacked slate" foundation or the slate paving at the front of the church disturbed, and we attempted to salvage anything that might be used in the rebuilding process. The "school bus" on the right was actually a truck made from a surplus bus, and was used to haul the debris away.
